This extraordinary 100” long sideboard was made in 1960 by a local craftsman in Manila, Philippines for an American businessman was based abroad. It was moved back to the United States in 1966 and remained in the same house for the last 57 years. No odors.
Unit measures 100.5” length x 19” deep x 32.75” tall.
Four doors open to two spacious storage compartments. Two adjustable height plywood shelves are supported and secured by four solid wood arms with dowels.
The smooth sliding drawers are made from solid nara wood and feature hand chiseled dovetail construction. The bottoms are made from masonite. Eight corduroy lined drawer liners are included.
The top extends 1.25” from the sides making the length of the base cabinet 98”
The top extends 1.25” from the front making the depth of the base cabinet 17.75”
The interior of the eight drawers measure approximately 13.5” wide x 3.5” tall x 14.5” length
The entire top is made from solid nara wood.
The doors appear to be made from plywood, but may be solid wood.
The legs and leg support framework is intact and not cracked.
Hand chiseled dovetail drawers made from solid nara wood except for masonite bottom.
The eight drawer supports inside the cabinet are solid wood.
